Every remarkable garden tells two stories. One is written by plants. The other by the people who dedicate years of their lives to creating them.

I photograph both.

Working closely with landscape designers and garden studios across Europe, I create quiet, atmospheric imagery that documents not only finished landscapes but also the craftsmanship, intention and human presence behind them.

Having worked in professional horticulture, I understand gardens from within—not only how they look, but how they are built, maintained and experienced through the seasons. I know how they evolve, how they are maintained, and how light, season and time shape their character. That perspective allows me to create photographs that feel authentic rather than merely decorative.

Hortulanus Studio is dedicated to documenting living landscapes and the people who leave a lasting legacy through their work.
